Giant Cochins, Wyandottes, & Marans
Large fowl are used for layers mostly at Imago Oiseaux. The flock is mixed, so any chicks hatched would be mutts. In the coop there are six birds. Five are standards, but there is one bantam. The standards are Rain, Juice, T-rex, Lucy, and Marilyn. Rain is a blue cochin cockeral. Juice is a black copper maran hen. T-rex is a mix between an EE and a leghorn. Lucy is a Golden Laced Wyandotte, and Marilyn is a White Plymouth Rock mixed with a Cornish. All of these birds are spoiled. I get two eggs a day and they enjoy their 8x8 coop and 10x8 run. I plan to cull Marilyn from the flock and add in a few more hens. I plan to add two white leghorns and a splash cochin ideally.
